    About Rock-it Radio's Original Format: The Music we play at Rock-it Radio - FM is 1950's and early 1960's Rock and Roll including Rockabilly & Doo-wop and R&B! We also feature bands today that are out there playing the style of roots driven rock and roll, rockabilly and group harmony sound known as doo wop today.

    What makes Rock-it Radio different from other oldies stations?: In the 1950s American Music tastes were changing, the younger generation was looking for there own sound! And from Rhythm and Blues and Roots styles of music, a new hybred was born... Rock and Roll! Most commercial Oldies stations today are playing less and less of this venue! But at Rock-it Radio - We are keeping that original sound alive! Not only that .... We are playing the rarities, lesser known songs of groups of the 50's and early 60's -- From the East Coast and West Coast the Doo wop sounds, from the South the sounds of Rockabilly, the blending of the new sound of Rock mixed with the hillbilly music of the rural portions of the U.S. made famous from the SUN Record Studios. We also differ that we also will play several unreleased versions and alternate versions and shows celebrating the different venues of the first decade of Rock and Roll -- So give us a listen and join our mailing list and stay in the know of what's going on at - Rock-it Radio FM 99.1

    99.1 FM returns to East Ventura and Saticoy -- With Certified FCC Part 15 Microcasting -- And having a height advantage and a special built 3 directional beam antenna cut to the perfectly cut to the frequency. On 1 December, 2007 Rock-it Radio Microcast station has returned to the airwaves. Field tests proved quite surprising what a little height and a super antenna can do for coverage of a microcast station. We are now back on 99.1 FM serving a substantial retirement community area with the music of the 50's and early 60's including Doo Wop, Top 40, Pop, Rock and Roll and Rockabilly. Making us one of the most unique oldies stations in the world.
